It's not just slot machine players who can get the thrill of a progressive jackpot win, as there are a few Blackjack games that offer players the chance of a large instant cash win.

Triple 7s Blackjack is one such game, but to be in with a chance of hitting that big win you are required to place an obligatory sidebet that will also give you the chance of winning some additional bonus payouts.

You should be aware that the bonus wins will payout irrespective of whether you base hand wins or loses.

Number Of Decks: Triple 7s Blackjack uses five regular decks of playing cards.

Splitting Rules: You are allowed to split only cards that have the same, equal value, you cannot Split cards that share the same value I.E. Tens, Jack, Queens and Kings can only be split if you have two matching cards.

If you choose to split Aces then just one card will be dealt to each Ace, and should you be dealt a ten valued card to either or both split Aces then this is a 21 hand and not a Blackjack.

By splitting you need to place an additional bet on the new hand which has to be the same as your initial wager amount.

Doubling Down Rules: You can Double Down on any hand that has a value of 9, 10 or 11, only one further card will be dealt to a hand once you have made a double down bet.

Online players need to be aware that the entire deck is shuffled before each game begins.

Payouts: A Blackjack hands pays 3-2, and a winning Insurance bet pays 2-1.

Working out the house edge on this sidebet is a little tricky, but its standard figure is a house edge of 37.94%. This drops by 3.45% for every $10,000 that has accumulated in the progressive jackpot meter.

So, should the progressive be at a figure of $109,860 or above then the sidebet will have no house edge attached to it. So you should be looking to play Triple 7's Blackjack when this figure is above this amount.
