Double Exposure Blackjack will open up a whole new dimension should you choose to play it, the reason for this is that you can see not only both your cards but you also get to see the Dealers cards.

This is due to the Dealer dealing all his cards face up!

Number Of Decks: Double Exposure Blackjack uses eight regular decks of playing cards.

Splitting Rules: You are allowed to split any two cards that have the same, equal value, this includes un-alike ten valued cards like Jacks, Queens and Kings. If you choose to Split Aces then just one card will be dealt to each Ace, and should you be dealt a ten valued card to either or both then this is a 21 hand and not a Blackjack.

By splitting you need to place an additional bet on the new hand which has to be the same as your initial wager amount.

You can, should you wish, keep on splitting and play up a maximum of four hands.

Doubling Down Rules: You can Double Down on any hand that has a value of 9, 10 or 11, and you may double down after splitting cards. You cannot, obviously, double down after receiving a Blackjack hand.

Dealer Play: The Dealer will always Hit a soft 17 hand. The Dealer places all his cards face-up on the table. All tied hands will be won by the Dealer, except a tied Blackjack hand in which the Player will be deemed the winner.

Online players need to be aware that the entire deck is shuffled before each game begins.

Payouts and House Edge: A Blackjack hands pays even money, and a winning Insurance bet pays 2-1.

The House Edge of the Double Exposure Blackjack game, is 0.69%.

Double Exposure Blackjack - Hints and Tips
Due to the game rules which say you can only double down on hands that have a value of 9, 10 or 11 there are only a few times when the correct strategy dictates that you should double down.

These are when you are holding an eleven and the Dealer is showing any card worth 4-9 or 12-15. If you have a Ten and the Dealer is showing 10-8 or 12-15 then you should double down.

If you are holding Nine then you should only double down when the Dealer is showing 5,6 or 12-15. A pair of fives should only be double downed if the Dealer is showing 4-8 or 12-15. You should not double down at any other time.

On most Blackjack games the correct strategy when you are holding a pair of Aces is to split them, however in the game of Double Exposure Blackjack you should not split Aces when you are faced with a Dealers Eleven

The correct strategy in circumstances such as this is for the Player to hit his hand. If you have a pair of Tens then you should always double down the hand unless the Dealer is showing a 9, 10 or 11 if he has then you should hit your hand.
